I am unable to authenticate my La Banque Postale bank account with Wero

If you see one of these messages while trying to set up your account with Wero: 

  • “You are not on your trusted device”

  • "We could not verify it's you"

it may be because La Banque Postale’s Certicode Plus is currently blocking the setup.
This often happens if you’ve recently changed phones, uninstalled the La Banque Postale app, or made changes to your Certicode Plus settings.

 

To resolve this issue, please follow these steps in order:

  1. Open the La Banque Postale app and turn off Certicode Plus if it is not yet turned off.

  2. Uninstall the Wero app from your device.

  3. Open the La Banque Postale app and turn on Certicode Plus.

  4. Install the Wero app, open it and add your bank account. You should now be able to make a payment.
