Some merchants don’t charge your account right away. Instead, they wait until your order is shipped, delivered, ready for pickup, or the service has been completed, to initiate the payment.
You’ll see the exact conditions for this on the merchant’s checkout page.
When this happens, the amount is reserved on your bank account but not yet taken. The charge will only go through once the merchant meets the conditions for payment.
You can easily check this in the ‘Activity’ tab of the Wero app:
Tap the payment to view the details of the reserved payment.
You’ll see:
How long the amount can be reserved (maximum number of days).
What needs to happen before the payment is triggered.
The current payment status.
If you look in your account activity, the payment will appear under ‘Pending’ until it’s actually charged.
